The tables have white marble tops above carved and painted friezes raised on slender tapering legs, painted in cream, blue and grey with gilding.

The cresting is an allegorical reference to the prosperity of the island of Mallorca; the pearls show the abundance of the seas; the trident is the symbol of Neptune; the staff represents the Rule of Justice; the caduceus is for commercial dominance and the column is for financial strength and stability.
