Charles Wallrock has been trading as Wick Antiques since th early 1980s in 18/19th century furniture and works of art, as well as maritime pictures and objects with a nautical flavour.
Over the years Charles has gained a vast general knowledge in his chosen fields particularly in decorative and rather unusual items, from an original timber knee from HMS Victory to a pair of exhibition quality Orientalist gilt wood cabinets in the form of pagodas with Japanese lacquer panels, to name but a few.
Charles exhibits internationally at the Armoury show in New York as well as Miami and Palm Beach International Fine Art and Antiques shows.
Closer to home he has been showing at The Olympia Summer Fair for some 25 years as well as being a member of the 19th century vetting committee and has been an exhibitor at The Masterpiece Fair since its conception.
Caroline completed the Christies Fine Art course in 1982 then joined Sotheby's as a cataloguer and auctioneer in the Japanese and Islamic departments. She married Charles in 1990 and has been a driving force in Wick Antiques ever since.
Charles and Caroline have had the pleasure and privilege of being the main supplier of antiques to the iconic Harrods Antiques Department for 20 years.

Our showroom is located in the Riverside Business Park, just off the High Street in the quaint harbour town of Lymington. Lymington is a small town situated in the New Forest on the South Coast of the United Kingdom adjacent to the stretch of water between the mainland and the Isle of Wight, the famous New Forest and close to the shipping ports of Southampton and Portsmouth. Both Southampton and Bournemouth are within half an hours drive and each has an airport serving destinations throughout Europe and further afield.
We are also just over ninety minutes from central London and regular trains from Waterloo offer direct services to nearby Brockenhurst, with a Heritage branch line from there providing access to Lymington Station which is only a few minutes' walk away.
